CASE STUDY: BRITISH AIRWAYS

The Challenge: In 1983, the then government-owned, British Airways was faced with the certainty of a private offering requiring them to compete in the marketplace. Customers perceived BA as stiff and cold.

The Process: Sarkady, as part of a consortium of training and consulting companies, worked with senior leadership to define the values inherent in a “caring culture.” The result was a training program for 1,000 senior executives and 10,000 cabin crew.

The Result: British Airways was rated the top stock offering of 1985 on the London Stock Exchange.
