CASE STUDY: EXECUTIVE RETREATS: Federal City Council,

20th Century Fox,  Harvard Program on Negotiation


Sarkady has conducted executive retreats for every client presented in the case studies of this book. In addition, some of our other work includes:

Federal City Council: Sarkady worked with the Board of Directors to create alignment between community, corporate and government goals for the city’s renewal. The Sarkady Process was used to implement a year long session of dialogues between 350 citizens across the District and region, the Mayor’s office, the OMB, the House Majority leader’s office, and a number of local congress people to create the ‘D.C. Agenda Project’- developed to raise and channel funds to renew our Nation’s Capitol.  

 

20th Century Fox: The new CEO and COO wanted to revive and renew this classic studio. The retreats Sarkady designed for their 20 senior executives resulted in a strategy to create mini-studios with a higher degree of entrepreneurship. One of the mini-studios’ first projects was to create and co-produce ‘Titanic,’ the most successful motion picture of all time.

Harvard Program on Negotiation: Sarkady worked as the organizational consultant with the founders of the Program on Negotiation. The end result was the founding of one of the most pivotal negotiation projects that established the field and continues to function as a seminal distribution place for new ideas.
